CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Level One
Basic hatha yoga focusing on principles of alignment and building strong, foundational asanas. May include some inversions. Meditation and breathing techniques included. This is an appropriate class for beginning students.
All Levels
Hatha style yoga that includes modifications and more challenging asanas for each level of student. Includes balancing, vinyasanas, inversions, stretching, breath work, and meditation.
Thai Yoga Stretching
This 45-90 minute session works with stretching and pressure points performed on you while you relax and anjoy. Some say this is an active massage. The results are amazing! Very theraputic and beneficial for athletes and individuals with chrinic pain.
Yoga Challenge
Vinyasanas designed to increase heart rate and strength for a more intense, physical yoga session. Not appropriate for all beginning students.
Restorative
Utilizes blankets, blocks, and straps for maximum physical support, allowing the body to melt into various asanas. Excellent for beginners and those seeking a more relaxing, “stretchy” class. Perfect for all levels, especially athletes, weekend athletes, and those returning from injuries.
Deep Relaxation
This 45 minute class is for all levels. Only one pose is performed and the goal is to relax the body while opening the mind for a positive, healing process to occur. Increases energy while decreases stress!
